Dr. Jayalakshmi is a Senior consultant Nephrologist with 20 years’ experience. She did her undergraduation at Kilpauk Medical College and PG at Stanley Medical College, Chennai. She was trained at the pestigious Madras Medical College in D.M. Nephrology. Currently she heads the department of Nephrology at TN Govt Multi Superspecialty Hospital, Omandurar Estate, Chennai, which has one of the largest dialysis units in the state. She is interested in Acute Kidney Injury, Preventive Nephrology and Onconephrology. She has given guest lectures in many institutions and loves teaching.
